Simple Sugar Syrup Recipe
As any bartender will tell you, you always need a bottle of simple syrup in the cupboard. It has so many uses: southern sweet iced tea, iced coffee, lime spritzer and more. I make a litre of this at a time and store it in sterilised Kilner bottles so that I am always ready to whip up delicious alternatives to fizzy drinks.
