Simple sugar syrup has many uses. Use in sweet iced tea, mint juleps, mojitos or iced coffee.

Ingredients

  • 1 kilo sugar caster
  • 1 litre water

Instructions

  • Sterlise your Kilner bottles
  • In a saucepan, combine sugar and water.
  • Bring to simmer and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken.
  • Pour into bottles and store for up to three months.
